L’amore e la passione per il mare guidano il Gruppo Sommozzatori di Caorle affiliato alla FIPSAS (Federazione Italiana Pesca Sportiva e Attività Subacquee) che nel corso degli anni ha esplorato la fascia costiera dal Piave al Tagliamento e dalla riva al confine delle acque internazionali.
È grazie al Gruppo Sommozzatori di Caorle che, esplorando nel dettaglio il fondale del litorale caorlotto, si sono potute censire numerose “tegnùe" e maturare l'idea di proteggere questi ecosistemi con la realizzazione di un’Area Marina Protetta che si chiama oggi Oasi Marina Città di Caorle.
Il Gruppo Sommozzatori di Caorle organizza anche corsi che prevedono:
- lezioni pratiche in bacino delimitato;
- lezioni in piscina;
- lezioni teoriche;
- prove d'esame in bacino delimitato durante il corso delle lezioni in piscina;
- prove d'esame di teoria;
- prove d'esame in acque libere.
