Caorle all year round

Caorle is a perfect destination all year round, particularly in spring, thanks to our mild climate and the presence of the sea on the one hand and of the Lagoon and the countryside on the other.

Many families choose Caorle for their summer holidays with their children, so the months from March to June are less chaotic in our hamlet which looks particularly beautiful and ensures you an unforgettable stay!

What could be more intimate than enjoying the warm, spring sun on a deserted coastline, walking for miles and miles along a beach which is all yours, breathing in the iodine and fresh air, and replenishing your eyes with a landscape worthy of a postcard?

Follow this up with lunch in one of the many restaurants or in the traditional taverns along the promenade or historical town centre, to appreciate our cuisine based on local products, to tickle your taste-buds with our fresh fish accompanied by a glass of wine, from the wineries of our land. Fresh wine ready to enjoy!

In the afternoon, you can choose to watch the fishermen as they return on their fishing boats between 3.30 and 4 pm to sell their catch using the whispered auction method or a wonderful cycle along one of the many cycling paths upon the discovery of the hinterland. At this point, all you need to do is decide whether you fancy visiting a vineyard, sipping craft beer or tasting the marshland honey which we proudly produce!

Or you can opt for a boat ride to enjoy a unique ecosystem, our Lagoon, the Fishermen's village and the spectacular casoni which you can visit inside, too!

Before dinner, you cannot miss out on an aperitif with a cicchetto (a shot) at one of the outdoor tables at one of the bars or clubs of the centre of town which is an open air lounge,and maybe also visit the shops which sell traditional products or the trendy boutiques for a spot of shopping!

Or you could choose Caorle and one of its welcoming accomodation as your base camp from which to visit unique destinations from dusk till dawn, such as Venice, only a stone's throw away from us!
